HR Manager

Join Our Team as a HR Manager at SHJ International in Alberta, AB!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
  • Oversee employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
  • Implement and manage employee development programs and training initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of HR processes and practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and current employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • HR certification (e.g. PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
